Privacy Policy

1. We at Waterworth Creations collect various data from our customers such as Name, Address, Phone number and Email Address. This sensitive data is collected for the sole purpose of fulfilling the order the Buyer has placed with Us.

2. Waterworth Creations website is owned by Lisa Waterworth and hosted by IONOS, whom are a third party to Us and therefore hold their own privacy policy in terms of how they store the data collected. The information retained by IONOS about the Buyer is governed by IONOS own policies and NOT Waterworth Creations.

3. The sensitive data used by Waterworth Creations in fulfilling the Buyers order is used to ensure the order is delivered to the Buyer. This is done through passing on the data only when necessary to a third party courier company. The courier companies used are Royal Mail, Parcelforce and DPD; all of whom will hold their own privacy policy in how they handle and store the information We give them in order for them to deliver the order sufficiently. From time to time a different courier company may be used but every effort will be made to ensure the Buyer is informed of the courier who will be delivering their order so they may check the privacy policy should they wish to do so; of that courier company.

4. Waterworth Creations has a duty to keep records for their accounts for a period of up to 7 years in line with government laws. The Buyers sensitive data may at times be within these accounts due to the records kept surrounding turnover and courier charges. Therefore the data held by Waterworth Creations will be stored in a locked unit and destroyed at the end of the 7th year in accordance with government policies surrounding accounting and data protection.

5. Other data may be collected by Waterworth Creations for the fulfilment of the Buyers order and as such would also come under point 5. This data can be anything such as names, dates and pictures for the purpose of creating the Buyers personalised items.

6. Pictures sent through to Us will be downloaded to the laptop and uploaded to external programmes in order to create the items before an order can be fulfilled. This data is will be deleted from all programmes and laptop after 30 days from the buyer receiving their order.
